One night Adelaide sees Gideon in a strange situation, she wants nothing more than to help him escape without notice. This distraction cause her to finally be ostracized by society! Gideon, feeling sorry, offers help by way of his dear friends who has been known to make some of the greatest matches in society. Adelaide wants nothing more than to be put back in society, but for her mom's sake she agrees. Another plus she can convince Gideon to allow her to help on the case, bringing her mystery books to life. Of course all this time together, they both start to feel something. But is Gideon willing to put Adelaide life on the line? Can Adelaide believe she is enough?

This is the second book in the Matchmakers series, but can be read as a standalone.

We have all felt out of place at times, like we are too odd to really standout in the right way at least. Jen writes Adelaide with this emotion in the most perfect way. She knows she's an outsider, has even come to terms with it. But even though she sees the downside she has come to love all that she has to offer the world. Gideon even comes to love her exactly the way she is.

Even though this book is about 400 pages, it is quick paced and entertaining you don't even notice. I love that we don't only get to see an adorable, funny relationship blossom, we also get to see a mystery unfold. Honestly try and guess where this mystery leads, because I really did not see it coming!

This book contains swoony kisses, smirks, and sarcasm galore. I really can not get enough of this series and I don't doubt you won't be able to either.
